The Lee’s Summit-East repeater is back on the air. You can find it on its new, permanent frequency: 442.825.
The Lee’s Summit-East repeater is off the air for a while. We’ve received the new coordinated frequency and need to tune the repeater and duplexer. The new frequency will be 442.825 when the repeater is reinstalled.
The Odessa repeater is back thanks to KCØKW and KØLBR. We’ve received the final approved frequency and retuned the duplexer and repeater. A firmware update for the Yaesu DR2-X was also installed.
Look for Odessa on 443.650.
The KU Med repeater is repeating and no longer buzzing, but its connection to Kansas City Wide room is intermittent.
We’re looking for a linking site outside the Med Center complex. It is currently very difficult to get access to the repeater and link.
A new UHF Fusion repeater has been added to the Kansas City Wide room and is currently in testing mode. It’s located on North Oak near 40th St. It won’t have much coverage to the north but provides some fill-in coverage in North Kansas City and the north side of Downtown.
Find it on 442.900 during the test phase. The frequency may change at some point in the future.
The Plaza repeater (443.275) is now back online.
The previous Tuesday Morning 9AM KC-Wide net was very popular. There have been several requests to try and get that net back.
I am happy to report David KE0DSV is returning that net starting today, January 11. It will be a similar relaxed morning get together.
Please stop by on Tuesdays at 9am and give him a call.
The digital repeater at KUMed has lost it’s mind, and is transmitting a loud FM buzz for several minutes after being keyed up. Please, don’t kerchunk it to see if it’s working.
Because of the COVID lockdown at the hospital, it’s difficult to get physical access.
Please use the Plaza 443.275 repeater until KUMed is back online.
